Open Auditions for A Murder Mystery Troupe Headquartered on the OR Coast!!

Poison Pen Players-a killer company with over 10 years experience in the business of murder, will be holding Open Auditions for our fall show Things That Go Bump: Adventures in Paranormal Stupidity (and future shows). Confirmed performance dates are Sept 18th and 19th at Three Rivers Casino and also October 30th (Saturday before Halloween) at Red Lion, Eugene. There will likely be additional shows added. Actors must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation.

Audition Location: Florence Playhouse, 208 Laurel in Old Town Florence

Date: Saturday, July 17th from noon to 3 pm

Casting: 3 males, 3 females. All ages welcome, but you must be 21+ to work for us.

Bring: Headshot/Resume (if you have one). No experience necessary. If you have talent, well train you!

Prepare: One minute of your wackiest character or silliest monologue. Think over the top! We once had an actor audition for us by portraying a piece of bacon frying in a pan.) Sides will also be provided.

Seeking: Actors who can portray larger than life characters with excellent comic timing. Learning your lines quickly is a must, as we only have limited rehearsals. Rehearsals are Friday evenings in Florence, until we get closer to performances. You are expected to do a large amount of homework! Our shows are fully scripted, but improvisation skills and audience interaction is part of the job.

Compensation: Actors are paid for performances. We treat our actors like family, and we have a lot of fun!
